Local call rates
Our landline plans are packed with minutes so you don’t have to worry about paying per call, but we do understand that you may need to call out-of-bundle every once in a while. To keep things simple for our landline customers, all out-of-bundle local calls are charged at 2p per minute when calling a landline (including offnet numbers) and 12p per minute when calling a mobile. The cost of these calls will always be the same, every day and at any time, since there are no peak or off-peak rates. To make things even better, we don't charge call connection fees. All local calls are charged per second after an initial one minute minimum.

Frequently asked questions
You can apply online or by visiting us in store. New customers will need to set up a Direct Debit with us as part of the application process.
The following will be required;
- Photographic ID (passport or ID card)
- Bank account details
- Billing email address
- Completed Direct Debit form
If you are applying online, you’ll need to upload a high resolution photo or scanned copy of your ID document as well as your completed Direct Debit form.

There are no connection fees or deposits for customers who pay by Direct Debit.

Call out fee £60
If you are over an old age pensioner (OAP) on rent relief simply provide us with a letter from the Ministry for Housing verifying this. This will entitle you to free replacement of faulty phones due to wear and tear and £4.50 of free calls each month.
Gibtelecom will always try to assist customers in moving their telephone numbers to their chosen new provider or between providers should they wish to keep the same telephone number.
To move your existing number to another operator you will need to advise your new service provider. They will explain what information they need from you and will then send a request to us to have your number moved to them.
In order to move your existing number to Gibtelecom, you will need to contact us first, either by telephone, email or by visiting us in store.
Gibtelecom does not charge customers for providing this service but will require them to fill out the below form including the customer declaration.
