Whatever disability a customer may have, our customer service agents can advise you on choosing the right phone; plan; and equipment, as well as provide set-up assistance for your Gibtelecom services.

As a Gibtelecom customer, we’ll make sure you are supported across a portfolio of services, with dedicated customer service, fault reporting and technical support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If you need assistance setting up or managing your account, Gibtelecom allows you to nominate a friend or relative to act as an authorised person. All you need to do is come in to our main offices at 15/21 John Mackintosh Square with the chosen person and speak to a customer services representative. You must both have your IDs or passports with you to set up the authorisation. Your nominated person will then be able to manage your account in accordance with your instructions.

Access to local emergency services is also available on 190 (Fire and Ambulance), 199 (Police) or 112.


Services for limited dexterity or mobility

The Company's Customer Services Centre at 15/21 John Mackintosh Square has been designed to be accessible and wheelchair-friendly. In addition, there are a number of public payphones across Gibraltar with dedicated disabled and wheelchair access.


Services for hearing and visually impaired users

If you are visually impaired or have hearing problems we are here to help.

Gibtelecom provides amplifier phones, allowing you to increase the volume of incoming speech, as well as visual alert telephones, which show a flashing light or make a loud noise when the telephone rings. There are also push button telephones available. These have a raised dot on the central number, as well as push-button phones with speed and automatic re-dial facilities also available. Called directory enquiry and printed directory information (free of charge) are also available. This includes a large print telephone directories, available free of charge upon request.
