Job Overview

As a Marketing Executive, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and brand growth. You will be responsible for a wide range of marketing activities, including customer experience enhancement, creative direction, communications, engaging content creation, public relations, product positioning, pricing strategies, advertising, and promotional campaigns. Your role will contribute significantly to brand development, engagement, and market expansion.

 

Role & Responsibilities 

  • Customer acquisition & retention: Develop and implement effective strategies to attract and acquire new customers, as well as rewarding and retaining existing ones. Help design and execute targeted campaigns that align with business goals. Provide sales support.
  • Customer experience: Analyse customer feedback and market trends to simplify the customer journey and enhance the overall customer experience. Identify opportunities for improvement and work with teams to implement changes that result in increased satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Creativity: Provide creative input for marketing materials, ensuring alignment with the brand's tone, voice and visual identity. Oversee the development of visually appealing and engaging content for various marketing channels.
  • Marketing communications: Create and manage compelling marketing comms that effectively convey our brand’s message and value proposition. Ensure clear and consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Digital content & PR: Develop content for Gibtelecom’s online presence, including social media, website, blogs and email campaigns. Help manage media relations, press releases and outreach.
  • Product positioning, packaging & pricing: Analyse market trends, competitive landscape and customer preferences to determine effective product positioning and pricing strategies. Collaborate with product teams to ensure alignment between service features and customer expectations.
  • Advertising & promotional activities: Plan and execute advertising campaigns across various channels, including digital, print and broadcast media. Develop and implement promotional strategies to drive sales and brand awareness.
  • Brand development and engagement: Contribute to the ongoing development of our brand identity and positioning. Implement strategies to engage customers and build a loyal brand following. Plan, coordinate and participate in customer events that enhance brand engagement and foster relationships. Ensure events align with the brand's image and objectives.
  • Commercial input, market research and analysis: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer behaviour. Analyse data to make informed decisions and recommendations for marketing strategies. Provide valuable input to support commercial decisions, product development, and business growth strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a marketing role.
  • Strong customer focus with sound commercial judgement
  • Understanding of marketing principles, customer behaviour and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, content creation and social media platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to provide innovative solutions.
  • Strong organisational skills and eye for detail.
