Enterprise - Sales and Account Management Team Leader

Job Overview

Responsible for leading Account Executives and managing their performance on a daily basis in line with KPI’s. Leading by example the Team Leader shall drive performance and ensure the team meets sales & AM targets whilst fostering strong and lasting relationships with clients.

 

Role & Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Monitoring team performance towards targets and objectives.
  • Oversee and coordinate all account management activities and deliverables.
  • Assigning accounts and sectors to team members.
  • Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to enhance team members’ skills and productivity.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress and provide guidance.

 

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Work with the Head of Enterprise Services to develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Monitor team sales performance and ensure alignment with organisational goals.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on progress to management.

 

Client Relationship Management:

  • Manage a set of key accounts, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Address escalated client concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and product knowledge in order to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and business growth with existing clients.
  • Remain focused on always delivering the best care and service  

 

Administrative Duties:

  • Ensure there are up to date records of team activity in Sales CRM platforms. Prepare and submit regular sales and account management reports.
  • Help the team navigate and negotiate contract changes, upgrades, and amendments
  • Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and sales guidelines.

 

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with other departments, including marketing, operations, and product teams, to align on goals and strategies.
  • Act as the point of contact between the sales team and management.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Experience in sales, account management, or a related field.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in technical sales an advantage
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
