Gibtelecom celebrates its annual golf tournament and raises over €2,000 for charity

Gibtelecom celebrated its traditional annual charity golf event at the prestigious La Reserva Golf Course in Sotogrande, bringing together local golf enthusiasts for a day of friendly competition, business networking and generous giving. The event culminated with a charity raffle where just over €2,000 was raised by participants for Rifcom, an NGO helping communities living in poverty in the Rif Mountains of Morocco.

The highlight of the day was the exceptional performance by the team of Darren McComb and Santiago Arranz, who emerged as the winners of the competition and who took this year’s trophy home. Their victory not only marked a successful day of golf but also served as a reminder of the power of sports to bring people together for a good cause. 

Gibtelecom expressed its commitment to supporting local communities and making a meaningful difference and thanked their event partners for the support: Viadex, Pragmatic Play, Progolf Shop and Specifix, as well as Vault 13, Khubchands. The Sunborn, The Collective, The Personal Edit, Spirit of the Rock, Orchid Thai Spa, Marble Arc, Vinopolis, EEZ, Music Corner, La Hacienda Links and TSN for donating prizes to the raffle. Danny Hook, Director of Enterprise Services for Gibtelecom shared: “We are incredibly proud to be able to once again bring together our friends, clients and business partners to this wonderful event at La Reserva Golf Course. Not only did we witness great fun on the course, but we also saw the generosity of our participants, who helped raise crucial funds for a fantastic cause. Events like these highlight the importance of working together as a team, and we are honored to be part of it. And all this happened under the bright sun, after a couple of very long months of rain and storms, which boosted spirits on the day.”

The La Reserva Golf Course, known for its stunning views and world-class facilities, provided the perfect backdrop for the day’s activities. Participants enjoyed an exciting tournament while experiencing the beauty of one of the finest and most exclusive golf courses in Spain.
