Gibtelecom makes key appointment to lead international expansion

Gibtelecom, a global provider of data centre facilities, managed solutions and cloud services, has appointed Gareth Hooson-Owen to drive its international expansion.

Gareth is a business development specialist with more than 20 years’ experience in Telecoms, IT Services and Financial Services. In his new role in the Gibtelecom Business division, Gareth will provide business development expertise allowing the company to identifying and secure growth opportunities globally.

Gibtelecom, headquartered in Gibraltar, currently operates cloud hubs and hosting facilities in Gibraltar, London, Dublin, Malta and Malaysia connected via a private global network with more locations planned.

Daniel Hook, Director Enterprise at Gibtelecom, commented: “Gareth brings extensive business development and account management experience in the telco and infrastructure environment as well his insight into a range of the business sectors we are targeting in the global marketplace.
